Ghazal 55 (غزل ۵۵) · Divan of Hafez
خَمِ زلفِ تو دامِ کفر و دین است
kham-e zolf-e to dām-e kofr o dīn ast
ze kārestān-e ū yek shamme īn ast
jamālat moʿjez-e ḥosn ast līkan
ḥadīs-e ghamze-at seḥr-e mobīn ast
ze chashm-e shūkh-e to jān key tavān bord
ke dāyem bā kamān andar kamīn ast
bar ān chashm-e siyah ṣad āfarīn bād
ke dar ʿāsheq-koshī seḥr-āfarīn ast
ʿajab ʿelmī-st ʿelm-e heyʾat-e ʿeshq
ke charkh-e hashtomash haftom zamīn ast
to pendārī ke badgū raft o jān bord
ḥesābash bā kerāmo l-kātebīn ast
