Ghazal 494 (غزل ۴۹۴) · Divan of Hafez
اِی دِل! گَر از آن چاهِ زَنَخْدان به دَرآیی
ey del! gar az ān chāh-e zanakhdān be-darāʾī
har jā ke ravī, zūd, pashīmān be-darāʾī
hosh dār ke gar vasvase-ye ʿaql konī gūsh
ādam-ṣefat az rowże-ye reżvān be-darāʾī
shāyad ke be-ābī, falakat, dast nagīrad
gar teshne-lab az chashme-ye ḥeyvān be-darāʾī
jān mī-deham az ḥasrat-e dīdār-e to, chon ṣobḥ
bāshad ke cho khorshīd derakhshān be-darāʾī
chandān, cho ṣabā bar to gomāram dam-e hemmat
kaz ghonche cho gol, khorram o khandān be-darāʾī
dar tīre-shab-e hejr-e to, jānam be-lab āmad
vaqt ast ke hamchon mah-e tābān be-darāʾī
bar rahgozarat baste-am az dīde, do ṣad jūy
tā bū ke to chon sarv-e khorāmān be-darāʾī
Ḥāfeẓ! makon andīshe ke ān Yūsof-e mah-rū
bāzāyad o az kolbe-ye aḥzān be-darāʾī!
