گُل در بَر و مِی در کَف و معشوق به کام است
gol dar bar o mey dar kaf o maʿshūq be-kām ast
solṭān-e jahānam be-chonīn rūz gholām ast
gū shamʿ mayārīd dar īn jamʿ ke emshab
dar majles-e mā māh-e rokh-e dūst tamām ast
dar mazhab-e mā bāde ḥalāl ast valīkan
bī-rūy-e to ey sarv-e gol-andām ḥarām ast
gūsham hame bar qowl-e ney o naghme-ye chang ast
chashmam hame bar laʿl-e lab o gardesh-e jām ast
dar majles-e mā ʿeṭr mayāmīz ke mā rā
har laḥẓe ze gīsū-ye to khosh-būy mashām ast
az chāshnī-ye qand magū hīch o ze shekkar
zān rū ke marā az lab-e shīrīn-e to kām ast
tā ganj-e ghamat dar del-e vīrāne moqīm ast
hamvāre marā kūy-e kharābāt maqām ast
az nang che gūyī ke marā nām ze nang ast
vaz nām che porsī ke marā nang ze nām ast
mey-khāre o sargashte o rendīm o naẓar-bāz
vān kas ke cho mā nīst dar īn shahr kodām ast
bā moḥtasebam ʿeyb magūyīd ke ū nīz
