Ghazal 44 (غزل ۴۴) · Divan of Hafez
کُنون که بر کفِ گُل، جامِ بادهٔ صاف است
konūn ke bar kaf-e gol jām-e bāde-ye ṣāf ast
be-ṣad hezār zabān bolbolash dar owṣāf ast
bekhāh daftar-e ashʿār o rāh-e ṣaḥrā gīr
che vaqt-e madrase o baḥs-e kashf-e kashshāf ast
faqīh-e madrase dī mast būd o fatvī dād
ke mey ḥarām valī beh ze māl-e owqāf ast
be-dord o ṣāf to rā ḥokm nīst khosh dar-kash
ke harche sāqī-ye mā kard ʿeyn-e alṭāf ast
bebor ze khalq o cho ʿanqā qiyās-e kār begīr
ke ṣīt-e gūshe-neshīnān ze qāf tā qāf ast
ḥadīs-e moddaʿiyān o khiyāl-e hamkārān
hamān ḥekāyat-e zardūz o būriyā-bāf ast
khamūsh Ḥāfeẓ o īn nokte-hā-ye chon zar-e sorkh
negāh dār ke qallāb-e shahr ṣarrāf ast
