ای دل مباش یک دم خالی ز عشق و مستی
ey del mabāsh yek dam khālī ze ʿeshq o mastī
v-ān gah borow ke rastī az nīstī o hastī
gar jān be-tan bebīnī mashghūl-e kār-e ū show
har qeble-ī ke bīnī behtar ze khvod-parastī
bā żaʿf o nātavānī hamchon nasīm khvosh bāsh
bīmārī andar īn rah behtar ze tandorostī
dar mazhab-e ṭarīqat khāmī neshān-e kofr ast
ārī ṭarīq-e dowlat chālākī ast o chostī
tā fażl o ʿaql bīnī bī-maʿrefat neshīnī
yek nokte-at begūyam khvod rā mabīn ke rastī
dar āstān-e jānān az āsemān mayandīsh
k-az owj-e sarbolandī oftī be-khāk-e pastī
khār ar che jān bekāhad gol ʿozr-e ān bekhvāhad
sahl ast talkhī-ye mey dar janb-e zowq-e mastī
ṣūfī piyāle-peymā Ḥāfeẓ qarrābe-parhīz
ey kūte-āstīnān tā key derāz-dastī
