برو به کارِ خود ای واعظ این چه فریادست؟
borow be kār-e khwod ey vāʿeẓ īn che faryād ast?
marā fetād del az rah, to rā che oftād ast?
miyān-e ū ke khodā āfarīde ast az hīch
daqīqe-ī-st ke hīch āfarīde nagshād ast
be kām tā narasānad marā lab-ash, chon nāy
naṣīḥat-e hame ʿālam be gūsh-e man bād ast
gadā-ye kūy-e to az hasht khold, mostaghnī-st
asīr-e ʿeshq-e to az har do ʿālam āzād ast
agar che mastī-ye ʿeshq-am kharāb kard valī
asās-e hastī-ye man z-ān kharāb, ābād ast
delā manāl ze bīdād o jowr-e yār ke yār
to rā naṣīb hamīn kard o īn az ān dād ast
borow fasāne makhwān o fosūn madam Ḥāfeẓ
k-az īn fasāne vo afsūn marā basī yād ast
