نمازِ شامِ غریبان چو گریه آغازم
namāz-e shām-e gharībān cho gerye āghāzam
be mūye-hā-ye gharībāne, qeṣṣe pardāzam
be yād-e yār-o diyār ānchonān begeryam zār
ke az jahān rah-o rasm-e safar barandāzam
man az diyār-e ḥabībam na az belād-e gharīb
moheymanā be rafīqān-e khvod resān bāzam
khodāy rā madadī ey rafīq-e rah tā man
be kūy-e meykade dīgar ʿalam barafrāzam
kherad ze pīrī-ye man key ḥesāb bargīrad?
ke bāz bā ṣanamī ṭefl, ʿeshq mī-bāzam
bejoz ṣabā-o shemālam namī-shenāsad kas
ʿazīz-e man! ke bejoz bād nīst dam-sāzam
havā-ye manzel-e yār, āb-e zendegānī-ye mā-st
ṣabā biyār nasīmī ze khāk-e Shīrāzam
sereshkam āmad-o ʿeybam begoft rūy be rūy
shekāyat az ke konam? khānegī-st ghammāzam
ze chang-e zohre shenīdam ke ṣobḥ-dam mī-goft
