Ghazal 298 (غزل ۲۹۸) · Divan of Hafez
مقامِ امن و مِیِ بیغَش و رفیقِ شَفیق
maqām-e amn o mey-e bīghash o rafīq-e shafīq
garat modām moyassar shavad zehī towfīq
jahān o kār-e jahān jomle hīch bar hīch ast
hezār bār man īn nokte kardeʾam taḥqīq
darīgh o dard ke tā īn zamān nadānestam
ke kīmiyā-ye saʿādat rafīq būd rafīq
be maʾmanī ro o forṣat shomor ghanīmat-e vaqt
ke dar kamīngah-e ʿomrand qāṭeʿān-e ṭarīq
biyā ke towbe ze laʿl-e negār o khande-ye jām
ḥekāyatīst ke ʿaqlash nemīkonad taṣdīq
agar che mūy-e miyānat be chūn manī naresad
khosh ast khāṭeram az fekr-e īn khiyāl-e daqīq
ḥalāvatī ke to rā dar chah-e zanakhdān ast
be konh-e ān naresad, ṣad hezār fekr-e ʿamīq
agar be rang-e ʿaqīqī shod ashk-e man che ʿajab
ke mohr-e khātam-e laʿl-e to hast hamcho ʿaqīq
be khande goft ke «Ḥāfeẓ! gholām-e ṭabʿ-e toʾam»
bebīn ke tā be che ḥaddam hamī konad taḥmīq
