منم که دیده به دیدارِ دوست کردم باز
manam ke dīde be dīdār-e dūst kardam bāz
che shokr gūyamat ey kār-sāz-e bande-navāz?
nīāzmand-e balā gū rokh az ghobār mashūy
ke kīmīā-ye morād ast, khāk-e kūy-e nīāz
ze moshkelāt-e ṭarīqat ʿenān matāb ey del!
ke mard-e rāh nayandīshad az nashīb o farāz
ṭahārat ar na be khūn-e jegar konad ʿāsheq
be qowl-e moftī-ye ʿeshqash dorost nīst namāz
dar īn maqām-e majāzī be joz pīyāle magīr
dar īn sarāche-ye bāzīche, gheyr-e ʿeshq mabāz
be nīm-būse doʿāyī bekhar ze ahl-e delī
ke keyd-e doshmanat az jān o jesm dārad bāz
fekand zamzame-ye ʿeshq dar Ḥejāz o ʿErāq
