چو آفتاب مِی از مشرقِ پیاله برآید
cho āftāb mey az mashreq-e pīāle barāyad
ze bāgh-e ʿāreż-e sāqī hezār lāle barāyad
nasīm dar sar-e gol beshkanad kolāle-ye sonbol
cho az mīān-e chaman būy-e ān kolāle barāyad
ḥekāyat-e shab-e hejrān na ān ḥekāyat-e ḥālīst
ke shamme-ī ze bayānash be ṣad resāle barāyad
ze gerd-e khān-e negūn-e falak ṭamaʿ natavān dāsht
ke bī malālat-e ṣad ghoṣṣe, yek navāle barāyad
be saʿy-e khod natavān bord pey be gowhar-e maqṣūd
khīāl bāshad kaīn kār bī ḥavāle barāyad
garat cho Nūḥ-e nabī ṣabr hast dar gham-e ṭūfān
balā begardad o kām-e hezārsāle barāyad
nasīm-e zolf-e to chon bogzarad be torbat-e Ḥāfeẓ
