قتلِ این خسته به شمشیرِ تو تقدیر نبود
qatl-e īn khaste be shamshīr-e to taqdīr nabūd
var na hīch az del-e bī-raḥm-e to taqṣīr nabūd
man-e dīvāne cho zolf-e to rahā mī-kardam
hīch lāyeq-taram az ḥalqe-ye zanjīr nabūd
yā rab īn āyene-ye ḥosn che jowhar dārad
ke dar ū āh-e marā qovvat-e taʾsīr nabūd
sar ze ḥasrat be dar-e meykade-hā bar-kardam
chon shenāsā-ye to dar sowmeʿe yek pīr nabūd
nāzanīn-tar ze qadat dar chaman-e nāz narost
khosh-tar az naqsh-e to dar ʿālam-e taṣvīr nabūd
tā magar hamcho ṣabā bāz be kūy-e to rasam
ḥāṣelam dūsh be joz nāle-ye shabgīr nabūd
ān keshīdam ze to ey ātash-e hejrān ke cho shamʿ
joz fanā-ye khodam az dast-e to tadbīr nabūd
āyatī būd ʿazāb andoh-e Ḥāfeẓ bī to
ke bar hīch kasash ḥājat-e tafsīr nabūd
