صلاحِ کار کجا و منِ خراب کجا؟
ṣalāḥ-e kār kojā o man-e kharāb kojā
bebīn tafāvot-e rah k-az kojāst tā be kojā
delam ze sowmeʿe begereft o kherqe-ye sālūs
kojāst deyr-e moghān o sharāb-e nāb kojā
che nesbat ast be rendī ṣalāḥ o taqvā rā
samāʿ-e vaʿẓ kojā naghme-ye rabāb kojā
ze rūy-e dūst del-e doshmanān che daryābad
cherāgh-e morde kojā shamʿ-e āftāb kojā
cho koḥl-e bīnesh-e mā khāk-e āstān-e shomāst
kojā ravīm befarmā az-īn jenāb kojā
mabīn be sīb-e zanakhdān ke chāh dar rāh ast
kojā hamī ravī ey del be-dīn shetāb kojā
beshod ke yād-e khoshash bād rūzgār-e veṣāl
khod ān kereshme kojā raft o ān ʿetāb kojā
