ستارهای بدرخشید و ماهِ مجلس شد
setāreʾī bedrakhshīd o māh-e majles shod
del-e ramīde-ye mā rā rafīq o mūnes shod
negār-e man ke be maktab naraft o khaṭ nanevesht
be ghamze masʾaleāmūz-e ṣad modarres shod
be bū-ye ū del-e bīmār-e ʿāsheqān cho ṣabā
fadā-ye ʿāreż-e nasrīn o chashm-e narges shod
be ṣadr-e maṣṭabeam mīneshānad aknūn dūst
gadā-ye shahr negah kon ke mīr-e majles shod
khiyāl-e āb-e Kheżer bast o jām-e Eskandar
be jorʿenūshī-ye solṭān Abu'l-Favāres shod
ṭarabsarā-ye maḥabbat konūn shavad maʿmūr
ke ṭāq-e abrū-ye yār-e manash mohandes shod
lab az tarashshoḥ-e mey pāk kon barā-ye khodā
ke khāṭeram be hazārān gonah movasves shod
kereshme-ye to sharābī be ʿāsheqān peymūd
ke ʿelm bīkhabar oftād o ʿaql bīḥes shod
cho zar ʿazīz-e vojūd ast naẓm-e man ārī
qabūl-e dowlatiyān kīmiyā-ye īn mes shod
ze rāh-e meykade yārān ʿenān begardānīd
