روزِ هجران و شبِ فُرقَتِ یار آخر شد
rūz-e hejrān o shab-e forqat-e yār ākher shod
zadam īn fāl o gozasht akhtar o kār ākher shod
ān hame nāz o tanaʿʿom ke khazān mīfarmūd
ʿāqebat dar qadam-e bād-e bahār ākher shod
shokr-e īzad ke be eqbāl-e kolah gūshe-ye gol
nakhvat-e bād-e dey o showkat-e khār ākher shod
ṣobḥ-e ommīd ke bod moʿtakef-e parde-ye gheyb
gū borūn āy ke kār-e shab-e tār ākher shod
ān parīshānī-ye shabhā-ye derāz o gham-e del
hame dar sāye-ye gīsū-ye negār ākher shod
bāvaram nīst ze badʿahdī-ye ayyām hanūz
qeṣṣe-ye ghoṣṣe ke dar dowlat-e yār ākher shod
sāqiyā loṭf nemūdī qadaḥat por mey bād
ke be tadbīr-e to tashvīsh-e khomār ākher shod
