Terms & refunds
Last updated 26 July 2026
Plain terms for a small ritual. By drawing a fal you agree to these; if any part of them troubles you, write to us before you buy anything.
What Delnameh is
Delnameh carries the Persian tradition of Fal-e Hafez: you hold a question, a ghazal from the Divan of Hafez is drawn at random, and a reading is written about that poem in light of your question. The poems are Hafez’s. The readings are generated by an AI model.
A reading is a reflection, offered as an invitation to look at something again. It is not a prediction, and it is not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. It is not a substitute for professional care. If you are in crisis, please reach out to someone who can be with you now — a person you trust, a professional, or a local crisis line.
Your account
Drawing a fal needs no account. If you sign in, you do so with a link sent to your email or with Google, and whoever can open that inbox can open your page — so keep it safe. Tell us at support@delnameh.com if you think someone else has access.
Mohrs
- A mohr is a seal that asks Hafez for a letter beyond the free one you get each day. One mohr, one reading.
- Mohrs are not money. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and exist only inside Delnameh.
- Mohrs do not expire. A mohr you have paid for stays yours until you spend it.
- If a reading is paid for but never reaches you, you are owed it — the app resumes it automatically, and if that ever fails, write to us and we will make it right.
- We may correct a balance that is wrong because of a fault or an error, in either direction, and we will tell you when we do.
Refunds
Mohrs you have not yet spent can be refunded within 7 days of purchase. Write to support@delnameh.com from the email on your account and we will return them.
A mohr that has already called a letter cannot be refunded — the reading was written for you, and it cost us to write. That is the whole of it.
Separately, and with no time limit: if something went wrong — a payment taken and mohrs that never landed, a letter that never arrived, a charge you do not recognise — tell us and we will put it right. That is not a refund policy, it is just how we intend to behave.
Paying
Payments are handled by Stripe. Prices are in US dollars and are shown before you pay. You must be 18 or older to buy mohrs. Any tax that applies is included or shown at checkout.
Fair use
Please use Delnameh as it was meant to be used. Do not attempt to break the daily limit, script the app, resell readings as your own service, or try to extract the instructions behind them. We may limit or close an account that does — and if we close yours, we will refund any unspent mohrs.
The readings themselves
The reading written for you is yours: keep it, screenshot it, send it to a friend. If you create a share link, you are asking us to host that reading at that link for a year so the person you sent it to can open it. You can ask us to take a shared reading down at any time.
No promises we cannot keep
Delnameh is offered as it is. We cannot promise it will always be available, that a reading will resonate, or that the service will stay the same shape forever — the free daily allowance and the price of mohrs may change, though we will not change what an already purchased mohr buys you.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you actually paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits anything that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law, and who we are
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Delnameh is operated by an individual based in California, United States.
If we change these terms we will update the date at the top of this page. Anything at all: support@delnameh.com.
