Ghazal 81 (غزل ۸۱) · Divan of Hafez
صُبْحْدَم، مُرْغِ چَمَن با گلِ نوخاسْتِه گُفْت
ṣobḥdam morgh-e chaman bā gol-e now-khāste goft
nāz kam kon ke dar īn bāgh basī chon to shekoft
gol bekhandīd ke az rāst naranjīm valī
hīch ʿāsheq sokhan-e sakht be maʿshūq nagoft
gar ṭamaʿ dārī az ān jām-e moraṣṣaʿ mey-e laʿl
ey basā dorr ke be nūk-e mozheʾat bāyad soft
tā abad būy-e moḥabbat be mashāmash narasad
har ke khāk-e dar-e meykhāne be rokhsāre naroft
dar golestān-e eram dūsh cho az loṭf-e havā
zolf-e sonbol be nasīm-e saḥarī mī-āshoft
goftam ey masnad-e Jam jām-e jahān-bīnat kū
goft afsūs ke ān dowlat-e bīdār bekhoft
sokhan-e ʿeshq na ān ast ke āyad be zabān
sāqiyā mey deh o kūtāh kon īn goft o shenoft
ashk-e Ḥāfeẓ kherad o ṣabr be daryā andākht
che konad sūz-e gham-e ʿeshq nayārast nahoft
