هزار جهد بکردم که یار من باشی
hezār jahd bekardam ke yār-e man bāshī
morād-bakhsh-e del-e bī-qarār-e man bāshī
cherāgh-e dīde-ye shab-zende-dār-e man gardī
anīs-e khāter-e ommīdvār-e man bāshī
cho khosrovān-e malāḥat be-bandegān nāzand
to dar miyāne khodāvandgār-e man bāshī
az ān ʿaqīq ke khūnīn-delam ze-ʿeshve-ye ū
agar konam gele-ī gham-gosār-e man bāshī
dar ān chaman ke botān dast-e ʿāsheqān gīrand
garat ze-dast barāyad negār-e man bāshī
shabī be-kolbe-ye aḥzān-e ʿāsheqān āyī
damī anīs-e del-e sūgvār-e man bāshī
shavad ghazāle-ye khorshīd ṣeyd-e lāghar-e man
gar āhūyī cho to yek dam shekār-e man bāshī
se būse k-az do labat karde-ī vaẓīfe-ye man
agar adā nakonī qarż-dār-e man bāshī
