از خون دل نوشتم، نزدیک دوست نامه
az khūn-e del neveshtam nazdīk-e dūst nāme
ennī raʾaytu dahran men hajreka l-qīāme
dāram man az ferāqash dar dīde ṣad ʿalāmat
laysat domūʿu ʿeynī hāzā lanā l-ʿalāme
har chand k-āzmūdam az vey nabūd sūdam
man jarraba l-mojarrab ḥallat behe n-nadāme
porsīdam az ṭabībī aḥvāl-e dūst goftā
fī boʿdehā ʿazābon fī qorbehā s-salāme
goftam malāmat āyad gar gerd-e dūst gardam
wallāhe mā raʾaynā ḥobban belā malāme
Ḥāfeẓ cho ṭāleb āmad jāmī be jān-e shīrīn
ḥattā yazūqa menho kaʾsan men-al-karāme
