ما بدین در نه پِیِ حشمت و جاه آمدهایم
mā bedīn dar na pey-e ḥeshmat o jāh āmade-īm
az bad-e ḥādese īn jā be panāh āmade-īm
rahrov-e manzel-e ʿeshqīm o ze sarḥadd-e ʿadam
tā be eqlīm-e vojūd īn hame rāh āmade-īm
sabze-ye khaṭṭ-e to dīdīm o ze bostān-e behesht
be ṭalabkārī-ye īn mehrgiyāh āmade-īm
bā chonīn ganj ke shod khāzen-e ū rūḥ-e amīn
be gedāyī be dar-e khāne-ye shāh āmade-īm
langar-e ḥelm-e to ey kashtī-ye towfīq kojā-st?
ke dar īn baḥr-e karam gharq-e gonāh āmade-īm
āberū mī-ravad ey abr-e khaṭā-pūsh be-bār
ke be dīvān-e ʿamal nāme-siyāh āmade-īm
ḥāfeẓ īn kherqe-ye pashmīne biyandāz ke mā
