ما را زِ خیالِ تو چه پروایِ شراب است؟
mā rā ze khiyāl-e to che parvā-ye sharāb ast?
khom gū sar-e khwod gīr, ke khomkhāne kharāb ast
gar khamr-e behesht ast berīzīd ke bī dūst
har sharbat-e ʿazb-am ke dahī, ʿeyn-e ʿazāb ast
afsūs ke shod delbar o dar dīde-ye geryān
taḥrīr-e khiyāl-e khaṭṭ-e ū naqsh-e bar āb ast
bīdār show ey dīde ke īman natavān būd
zīn seyl-e damādam ke dar īn manzel-e khwāb ast
maʿshūq ʿayān mīgozarad bar to, valīkan
aghyār hamī-bīnad az ān baste neqāb ast
gol bar rokh-e rangīn-e to tā loṭf-e ʿaraq dīd
dar ātash-e showq az gham-e del, gharq-e golāb ast
sabz ast dar o dasht biyā tā nagozārīm
dast az sar-e ābī ke jahān jomle sarāb ast
dar konj-e demāgh-am maṭlab jāy-e naṣīḥat
k-īn gūshe por az zamzame-ye chang o rabāb ast
