Ghazal 28 (غزل ۲۸) · Divan of Hafez
به جانِ خواجه و حقِ قدیم و عهدِ درست
be jān-e khwāje vo ḥaqq-e qadīm o ʿahd-e dorost
ke mūnes-e dam-e ṣobḥ-am, doʿā-ye dowlat-e tost
sereshk-e man ke ze ṭūfān-e nūḥ dast barad
ze lowḥ-e sīne nayārast naqsh-e mehr-e to shost
bekon moʿāmele-ī, vīn del-e shekaste bekhar
ke bā shekastegī arzad be ṣad hezār dorost
zabān-e mūr be Āṣaf derāz gasht o ravāst
ke khwāje khātam-e Jam, yāve kard o bāz najost
delā ṭamaʿ mabor az loṭf-e bī-nahāyat-e dūst
cho lāf-e ʿeshq zadī, sar bebāz, chābok o chost
be ṣedq kūsh, ke khworshīd zāyad az nafasat
ke az dorūgh siyah-rūy gasht ṣobḥ-e nakhost
shodam ze dast-e to sheydā-ye kūh o dasht o hanūz
nemīkonī be taraḥḥom, neṭāq-e selsele sost
maranj Ḥāfeẓ o az delbarān ḥefāẓ majūy
gonāh-e bāgh che bāshad cho īn giyāh narost
