روزه یکسو شد و عید آمد و دلها برخاست
rūze yek-sū shod o ʿīd āmad o del-hā barkhāst
mey ze-khomkhāne be-jūsh āmad o mī-bāyad khāst
nowbe-ye zohd-forūshān-e gerān-jān bogzasht
vaqt-e rendī o ṭarab kardan-e rendān peydāst
che malāmat bovad ān rā ke chenīn bāde khorad
īn che ʿeyb ast bedīn bī-kheradī v-īn che khaṭāst
bāde-nūshī ke dar ū rūy o riyāyī nabovad
behtar az zohd-forūshī ke dar ū rūy o riyāst
mā na rendān-e riyāyīm o ḥarīfān-e nefāq
ān ke ū ʿālem-e serr ast bedīn ḥāl govāst
farż-e īzad begzārīm o be-kas bad nakonīm
v-ān che gūyand ravā nīst nagūyīm ravāst
che shavad gar man o to chand qadaḥ bāde khorīm
bāde az khūn-e razān ast na az khūn-e shomāst
īn che ʿeyb ast k-az ān ʿeyb khalal khāhad būd
