سَحَرم دولتِ بیدار به بالین آمد
saḥar-am dowlat-e bīdār be bālīn āmad
goft barkhīz ke ān khosrow-e shīrīn āmad
qadaḥī darkash o sarkhosh be tamāshā bekhrām
tā bebīnī ke negār-at be che āyīn āmad
mozhdegānī bedeh ey khalvatī-ye nāfe-goshāy
ke ze ṣaḥrā-ye Khotan āhū-ye moshkīn āmad
gerye ābī be rokh-e sūkhtegān bāzāvard
nāle faryādras-e ʿāsheq-e meskīn āmad
morgh-e del bāz havādār-e kamān-abrūʾīst
ey kabūtar negarān bāsh ke shāhīn āmad
sāqiyā mey bedeh o gham makhor az doshman o dūst
ke be kām-e del-e mā ān beshod o īn āmad
rasm-e badʿahdī-ye ayyām cho dīd abr-e bahār
gerye-ash bar saman o sonbol o nasrīn āmad
