Ghazal 117 (غزل ۱۱۷) · Divan of Hafez
دل ما به دور رویت ز چمن فَراغ دارد
del-e mā be dowr-e rūyat ze chaman farāgh dārad
ke cho sarv pāy-band ast-o cho lāle dāgh dārad
sar-e mā forū-nayāyad be kamān-e abrū-ye kas
ke darūn-e gūshe-gīrān, ze jahān farāgh dārad
ze banafshe tāb dāram ke ze zolf-e ū zanad dam
to siyāh-e kam-bahā bīn, ke che dar demāgh dārad!
be chaman kharām-o bengar bar-e takht-e gol ke lāle
be nadīm-e shāh mānad ke be kaf ayāgh dārad
shab-e ẓolmat-o biyābān, be kojā tavān rasīdan?
magar ān ke shamʿ-e rūyat be raham cherāgh dārad
man-o shamʿ-e ṣobḥgāhī sezad ar be ham begeryīm
ke besūkhtīm-o az mā bot-e mā farāgh dārad
sezadam cho abr-e bahman ke bar īn chaman begeryam
ṭarab-āshiyān-e bolbol, bengar ke zāgh dārad
sar-e dars-e ʿeshq dārad del-e dardmand-e Ḥāfeẓ
