من و انکارِ شراب! این چه حکایت باشد؟
man o enkār-e sharāb! īn che ḥekāyat bāshad?
ghāleban īn qadaram ʿaql o kefāyat bāshad
tā be ghāyat rah-e meykhāne nemī-dānestam
var na mastūrī-ye mā tā be che ghāyat bāshad
zāhed o ʿojb o namāz o man o mastī o niyāz
tā to rā khvod ze miyān bā ke ʿenāyat bāshad
zāhed ar rāh be rendī nabarad maʿzūr ast
ʿeshq kārī-st ke mowqūf-e hedāyat bāshad
man ke shab-hā rah-e taqvā zade-am bā daf o chang
īn zamān sar be rah āram? che ḥekāyat bāshad!
bande-ye pīr-e moghānam ke ze jahlam berahānd
pīr-e mā har che konad ʿeyn-e ʿenāyat bāshad
dūsh az īn ghoṣṣe nakhoftam ke rafīqī mī-goft
